Straight age and mixed age classes
When you create a new class (or click on an existing class) you will now be asked to pick the type of class it is. You will be able to choose from:

  • Straight age classes (this is a class where pupils remain in the same class at the end of the academic year and move to the next academic year in the same class cohort).
  • Mixed age / variable composition classes (this is a class where pupils do NOT remain in the same class cohort at the end of the academic year. Each academic year pupils in the class change based on their age or due to other variables chosen by your school).

Your choice of class type will ensure you see the correct performance reports and data for the class.

New easier reporting (including the ability to filter by academic year)
We're adding a wider range of reports so you can quickly and easily find out all about the performance of your pupils and classes.

You'll also be able to filter the reports and data for your classes by academic year. You can choose to see data from a single academic year or for all of the years for which your class and/or pupils have data.
